Banners are achievements given to countries that fulfill certain criteria. The sheer number of banners means that any new nation already has over a dozen banners as soon as it is created. Banners, as well as ranks, can range from very flattering to very insulting, sometimes depending on individual interpretation.

- a stands for agriculture
- b stands for buildings
- c stands for cities
- f stands for forests
- i stands for industry
- l stands for landscapes
- m stands for military
- p stands for people
- x is used for scientific advancement
- z stands for zombie apocalypse
